Nails

Nail cutting is performed as part of the general podiatry treatment. Some clients are physically unable to cut their own nails, be this due to age / mobility issues or thickening caused by infection or trauma to the nail plate. Some health complaints such as diabetes also needs individuals to take care when cutting their nails and in some circumstances, it is recommended only a suitably trained person, such as a podiatrist, cut their nails. Advice can also be given on how best to cut your own toe nails. Perfect podiatry are able to take samples of your nail plate to diagnose the presence of fungus and advise you on how this can be treated.
